There will be millions of things that Dr Kilpatiky will forget as time goes by, but the moment when she saw the set of golf clubs among the donations for the school’s Christmas Adopt-a-Family appeal will not be one of them.
 

Den här boken tyckte jag verkligen om. Det var så fint att få läsa en bok där ingen karaktär ville något illa. De kunde förvisso vara lite själviska och självcentrerade men de ville aldrig skada någon annan. Sen kunde deras snedvridna verklighetsuppfattning ställa till det för dem ibland.
 
Studenterna på Shell Harbour måste varje år utföra 20 timmars samhällstjänst av någon form, till exempel att hjälpa till i biblioteket eller att coacha ett knattelag. Tidigare år så har de fått välja själva vad de vill göra men nu har deras rektor blivit trött på deras okunskap och har därför bestämt att platserna slumpmässigt ska delas ut. Vilket resulterar i att tre studenter blir otroligt besvikna på sina platser och det visar de ganska tydligt.
